We are seeking a talented self-starter who excels at maintaining the development and release pipeline of our software products. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the provisioning, deployment, tuning, maintenance, testing and monitoring of our modest but rapidly growing cloud based infrastructure.

You’ll participate in the development and execution of automated testing, database replication, security assessments, and network performance management.

You’ll also propose, design and implement continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment tooling and processes.

This role is vital in ensuring that our infrastructure supports our growth on the customer side and that our development, testing and release processes are as painless and joyful as possible for our development teams.

Qualifications & Skills


  • 2+ years experience in DevOps or SysAdmin role.
  • Broad Linux admin skills (CentOS, RHEL, Debian)
  • Experience with NGINX, AWS, EC2, S3, Lambda.
  • Above average knowledge of version control and continuous integration (Git, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Solid database admin skills with RDS, mySql, Postgres or similar.
  • Experience building, configuring and deploying applications using frameworks such as SpringBoot, NodeJS, etc.
  • Experience using Python and Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and Web2Py.
  • Experience with using tools such as Docker, Puppet, Ansible and Chef.
  • Familiarity with high availability applications including redundancy, backup, failover, scalability, monitoring and performance.
  • Systems administration including user and account management, patching and scripting and custody of SSL, DNS and other pertinent certificates.
